Marketing Executive




We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join our expanding team and pro-actively support all elements of our marketing activity including the development & execution of campaigns, event management, content creation, management of social media accounts etc.

Some of the key aspects of this role are:

  • Support the wider marketing team through the coordination and execution of marketing activity and campaigns
  • Lead on the booking, management and attendance of all industry events
  • Day-to-day management of social media channels delivering both planned content and reactive responses to topics, conversations and relevant trending posts
  • Copywriting for news articles, case studies, emails, internal and external comms, social media, sales toolkit (brochures, presentations etc)
  • Act as a central source of market intelligence across the business, helping find contact data for key prospects and managing this data for campaigns
  • Act as the ‘gate-keeper’ between the company and outsourced agencies/ suppliers
  • Support the Marketing Manager to track annual marketing budget, and raising POs for marketing spend
  • Supporting the Sales Team and wider business in creating and updating documents as per brand guidelines, proofreading etc
  • Management of the company’s internal communication platform.
  • General departmental admin



Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will help the team to develop excellent internal relationships and represent the marketing team to ensure we are perceived as approachable experts.


The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills:


  • Degree (Minimum 2.2), or equivalent
  • At least 2 years marketing experience
  • Campaign conception, implementation and measurement
  • Excellent copywriting abilities
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of staff, acting assertively where necessary to ensure deadlines are met
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an eye for detail
  • Intermediate IT skills including Excel and databases
  • Experience of web and social media, including analytics


  • CIM qualification or similar
  • Experience liaising with and managing suppliers
  • Project management skills
  • Experience of InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop


  • Salary: £18-£22K (depending on experience)
  • Bupa cover after successful completion of probation
  • Auto enrol pension after 3 months employment (can opt out but only after joining initially). 3% basic salary employee + 2% basic salary employer
  • Death in Service insurance cover from 1st day of employment (4 x annual basic ) salary
  • Day off for birthday
