The Great Expectations of Generation Z

In our latest piece of commissioned research, The Great Expectation of Generation Z, StudentCom surveyed 800 15-18 year olds, all considering themselves likely to go to university.

In doing so, we discovered exactly what it is they want, need and expect from their student accommodation.

It has revealed a number of key statistics that demonstrate the growing influence that technology and connectivity have on the accommodation decisions of this generation. These include finding that 83% of our sample felt they ‘couldn’t live without internet’, while almost half of respondents said that they considered fast internet connection to be the most important factor in choosing their university accommodation.

We hope the information within helps you in future proofing your accommodation, ready for the students of the near future.
