In addition to 24/7 Service Desk Support, Twitter Support & Live Chat, StudentCom have now launched a dedicated Help & Support app. The app provides concise advice and guidance on improving Wi-Fi performance and gaming experience, and video user guides from our award winning digital production team Campuslife.

Universities increasingly require support via an app. This easy-to-consume digital format is now a mandatory requirement for universities looking to enhance student experience and remove the support bottle neck when students arrive at University.

In 2016, 64% of all students accessed StudentCom Internet using a tablet or mobile device. 45% logged in using Apple devices and 17% logged in using Google Android enabled devices. The app is available for both of these popular systems and available to download via the Apple App Store and Google Play. The app ensures that students can get support in a format relevant and accessible to them.

The sophisticated and simple design is easy to navigate, creating a user experience that is engaging and natural.

Tom White, Marketing Director at StudentCom, comments: "Generation Z represent the consumers of tomorrow, and businesses need to consider and adapt today to future proof their business models. The StudentCom Help & Support app will get students online faster, improve Wi-Fi performance and is another step in optimising student experience.

Future development plans will include support ticket logging, instant log in to any StudentCom enabled Wi-Fi, 4G live chat and Wi-Fi diagnostic tools.
